It is almost Mother's Day...My FIRST one!
I carried you for nine months. During that time I was VERY lucky and never got sick or nausea, however I suffered in other ways... My feet did swell (Your Dad called them little vienna sauages) and my skin stretched and tore. I couldn't fit into any pants that weren't a sketchy yoga type and lived in dresses and leggings the entire time. I struggled sometimes towards the end to simply climb the stairs in our house or our massive drive way, I got out of breath so easily! For about 5 months I had to deal with your not so little foot pushing and kicking my ribs everyday. I had terrible heartburn and could basically spit fire on people. I slept ZERO during the night...every position was so uncomfortable, I tried them ALL!
I was so anxious and nervous to meet you. But now seeing and holding you it was ALL worth it and I would do it over again and again!
I promise to be your biggest chearleader, your bestfriend, your teacher, your nurse, your chef and your chauffeur....and anything else I left out, I will do anything for you!
